Booking and deposits

Appointments are booked online, by phone or by message. A £50 deposit is required to hold the date, and it comes off the balance on the day.

The balance is payable at the end of your appointment.

Changes and cancellations

At least 72 hours notice is needed to move or cancel an appointment. Give that much notice and your deposit moves with you to the new date.

Less than 72 hours notice, or not turning up, means the deposit is not refunded and a new one is needed to book again.

This is not about being difficult. A treatment takes about three hours, and a slot given up at short notice almost never gets filled.

If Iyesha has to change your appointment, you will be offered the next available date or a full refund of your deposit, whichever you prefer.

Patch tests

A patch test is required before your first treatment, and it is not optional. It checks that you do not react to the pigment.

It needs to be done far enough ahead of your appointment for any reaction to show. If you have not had one, the treatment cannot go ahead and the deposit terms above apply.

Suitability and the right to decline

Permanent makeup does not suit everyone. Before your appointment you will be asked to complete a medical consultation form, and you need to answer it honestly. Leaving something out does not get you a treatment, it gets you a worse result or a reaction.

It asks about pregnancy and breastfeeding, skin conditions in or near the area, cold sores, allergies to anaesthetic or latex, blood-thinning medication, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, keloid scarring, chemotherapy or radiotherapy, Accutane or Roaccutane, and any previous reaction to a tattoo or permanent makeup.

Timing matters for a few things. Leave at least four weeks after Botox or dermal filler in the area, and at least four weeks after laser, a chemical peel or microneedling. Treatment cannot go ahead during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Iyesha may decline to treat, or stop partway, if it is not in your interest to continue. If that happens before any work has started, your deposit is returned.

Treatments are for adults aged 18 and over. That is her policy and a condition of her insurance.

What the price includes

Every price covers the consultation, mapping and designing your shape, the treatment itself, and written aftercare.

A top-up appointment is included in the price of your first treatment, once the colour has settled and it is clear how your skin has taken it.

A refresh after that is charged separately, at the prices shown on the treatments page.

Results

Permanent makeup is worked into living skin, and skin varies. Colour, healed depth and how long it lasts differ between people and cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Two appointments may be needed to reach the finished result, particularly on oily skin or where there is existing work to correct.

Photographs on this website show real clients and real results. They are what the work looks like, not a promise of what yours will look like.

Aftercare

You will be given written aftercare instructions and Iyesha's number. Following them properly makes a real difference to how the result heals.

Where a poor result is clearly down to aftercare not being followed, correcting it is chargeable.

Running late

If you are running late, ring and say so. Arriving significantly late may mean the appointment has to be shortened or rebooked, since the following client cannot be pushed back.

Payment

Deposits are paid at the time of booking. The balance is due at the end of your appointment.

Card, Google Pay, bank transfer and cash are all accepted, as are Klarna and Clearpay.

If something is wrong

Get in touch as soon as you can. Most things are fixable, and they are easier to fix early.

Iyesha is fully insured and licensed by Kirklees Council for semi-permanent skin colouring.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The version that applies to your appointment is the one published when you booked. The date at the top shows when this was last revised.
