Shorter appointments and smaller decisions than the permanent makeup side of the studio, and no patch test or three-hour booking involved.

Henna brows
45 minutes, £35
A plant-based dye that stains the skin underneath the brow as well as the hair itself, so the shape reads fuller and more defined rather than just darker. It fades out gradually and leaves nothing behind.
It is also the sensible way to see what a fuller brow actually looks like on your face before committing to anything permanent. A fair few henna clients end up booking powder brows once they have lived with the shape for a fortnight.

Brow wax and tint
30 minutes, £15
Shaping and colour in one appointment. The wax takes the shape back to where it should be, and the tint darkens the hair, including the fine hairs at the edges that usually vanish in daylight.
The usual maintenance interval is about four weeks, which is roughly when the shape starts drifting and the tint starts washing out.

Brow wax
15 minutes, £10
Shaping on its own, without the tint. Fifteen minutes to take the shape back to where it should be, which between fuller appointments is usually all it needs.

Henna is a good way to try before you commit
If you are having henna brows every couple of weeks, you already know you want a fuller brow. You are just paying for it repeatedly and redoing it yourself in between.
Permanent makeup does the same job for one to three years at a time, and the shape is mapped to your face rather than painted onto it. Plenty of Iyesha's brow clients started with henna and got tired of the upkeep.
